for Registered Behavior Tech

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a 22-year-old female with Autism

Position Overview: Implement evidence-based behavior-analytic interventions while assisting her with daily living skills, schoolwork, and community engagement. You'll split your time between structured ABA sessions and hands-on caregiving. The ideal candidate should have experience with autism, demonstrate patience, and possess the skills necessary to support the individual's functional independence.

Hours

• Monday through Friday: 4 PM - 8 PM
• Weekends: Flexible for community outings
• Note: During school breaks, the schedule will shift to 10 AM - 6 PM

Salary Range
$16.00 per hour


Total Hours
Minimum of 20 hours per week, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assist with grooming, hygiene, and hair care.
• Domestic Assistance: Teach and assist with cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Health and Safety Care: Remind and assist with medications and physical exercises.
• Documentation: Accurately record daily progress according to the service plan and IEP.
• Community Assistance: Facilitate community engagement and social activities.
• Communication: Maintain open communication with the agency regarding any client or family concerns.
• Support: Encourage and support the client's growth and development at home and in the community.

Requirements:

• RBT certification or equivalent
• 1+ year experience with adults on the autism/ADHD spectrum
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Reliable transportation and a smartphone for check-ins

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• A valid Georgia driver's license and auto insurance are required.
• CPR & First Aid Certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Current TB test.
