Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location not specified. This position involves providing expert nursing care in a large, high-acuity emergency department with a Level II Trauma Center designation. The ER nurse will deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population, including critical trauma, stroke, behavioral health, and pediatric cases.

Job Details

• Position Description: Start date: 10/26/2026. End date: 01/25/2027. Shift: Nights, 4x12 hours, minimum 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC; Epic charting system experience; at least 2 years of ER nursing experience; licensure in a valid state (preferably compact license).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level II adult trauma center, Level III pediatric trauma center, Stroke Certification; familiarity with arterial line management, ventilated patient care, central line management, procedural sedation, and neuro-trauma.
• Additional Responsibilities: Manage arterial lines, blood products, ventilated patients, and other critical procedures; coordinate care for patients ranging from low to high acuity, including stroke, trauma, behavioral health, and critically ill cases.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Submission Requirements: Must include responses to whether the candidate has previously worked at a Providence facility, with details, and provide 2 references covering at least 1 year within the past 3 years.
