The organization is seeking an ICU Cardiovascular Nurse for a contract assignment located in Asheville, North Carolina. The position involves working in a dedicated Cardiac Intensive Care Unit with specialized equipment and procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Asheville, NC
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH)
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, alternating weekends, beginning 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ICU experience, Cerner electronic medical record system proficiency, CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) recommended.
• Preferred Skills: Titration of Vesicant Medications, familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, Paralytics, Ventilation management, Trach care, Telemetry interpretation, Hemodynamic monitoring, PA Catheter setup and interpretation, Transvenous pacing, Cardioversion, TEE, Chest tube insertion and maintenance.
• Additional Information: No pullovers or hoodies; green scrubs only when the uniform is soiled; must adhere to specified uniform colors. The unit employs new technology and experienced staff, which enhances its clinical environment.
• Procedures Performed: Cardioversion, Central line insertion, EGD, Bronchoscopy, Chest Tube insertions, Pericardiocentesis, Thoracentesis.
