Customer Service Rep (06803) - 1000 E Loop 304 Position Type Full‑time Job Category: Store Customer Service Rep Responsibilities Operate all equipment; stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler; prepare product; receive and process telephone orders; clean equipment and facility daily; take inventory and complete associated paperwork; receive training orientation and on‑the‑job training. Communication Skills Comprehend and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person. Essential Functions / Skills Perform basic calculations accurately and quickly, may use a calculator. Make correct monetary change. Employ verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Use eye‑hand coordination to rapid and accurate movements; insert orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Work Conditions Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. Indoor temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F or higher in some work areas. Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F. Work in cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts. Requires visual, auditory, and sensory capacity for typical store tasks. Physical Demands Stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, climb, stoop, bend, crouch, squat, reach, hand tasks as described in detail. Lifting up to 50 lb cases; carrying 3‑lb cans; pushing up to 7.5 lb force; reaching up to 72 in. Employees must be able to perform tasks under stress and meet strict quality control standards.
