Occupational Therapist I/IIThe County of San Luis Obispo Public Health Department is currently recruiting for a full-time Occupational Therapist I/II to join the California Children's Services team! California Children's Services (CCS) is a statewide program that arranges, directs, and pays for medical care, equipment, and rehabilitation for children and young adults less than 21 years of age who have eligible medical conditions. Classes in this series, under medical direction, organize and conduct occupational therapy treatments and programs in a clinic setting, may assist in the supervision and coordination of a staff of physical and occupational therapists at one or more California Children's Services (CCS) Medical Therapy Units (MTU); and do other related work as required. Work Location: May be assigned to any of the County's MTU locations– Oceano, SLO, Atascadero, Paso Robles. Must be able to work at any MTU location as a temporary or permanent work location.This recruitment may be used to fill future permanent, substitute, limited term, and temporary positions, both full-time and part-time throughout the County.The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with physical disabilities. Minimum Qualifications Occupational Therapist I: Possession of a valid California license as an Occupational Therapist. In addition, a valid registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Occupational Therapist II: Possession of a valid California license as an Occupational Therapist. In addition, a valid registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
