The facility features a range of modern CNC milling and turning equipment, including Makino, Mori Seiki, Haas, Mazak, and Daewoo machines. Comprehensive inspection capabilities, including CMM and digital measurement tools, support rigorous quality standards and reliable results. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Setup Tech role based in Oceanside, CA. The Setup Tech will be responsible for setting up CNC milling and turning machines, including loading fixtures, tools, and programs, and verifying correct machine offsets and parameters. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, job travelers, and setup sheets, performing first-article and in-process inspections, and making minor adjustments to ensure parts meet specifications. The Setup Tech will also monitor machine performance, troubleshoot basic issues, and support operators with changeovers and part runs. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized work area, following all safety and quality procedures, and collaborating with programmers, inspectors, and other team members to meet production schedules. Qualifications Strong CNC setup skills for multi-axis milling and turning machines, including experience with modern machining centers and lathes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions, with solid understanding of GD&T and tight tolerances. Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages, comparators) and basic inspection practices. Familiarity with CNC programs, tool selection, offsets, and basic troubleshooting of machining issues. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in aerospace or high-precision machining environments preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in machining is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
