Braille Transcriber II

Job Summary The Braille Transcriber II provides support to the instructional program with specific responsibilities for transcribing educational materials into alternative formats (Braille, large print) for students with visual impairments and/or teachers; responds to questions from students, parents, and staff regarding methodologies and available resources; provides training and technical guidance; and maintains resource inventory for teachers and students.
This job reports to the Special Education Director. Requirements / Qualifications Comments and Other Information Poway Unified School District offers an excellent benefits package for eligible employees who are contracted for 20 (twenty) or more hours per week.
