ServiceNow Service Desk Integration Expert Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Service Desk Integration Expert Consultant to join our team for a 3-6 month engagement. As a consultant in this role, you will be responsible for transitioning FreshDesk ITSM workflows into Company's ServiceNow instance. You will collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders and other internal teams to understand their business requirements, identify process optimization opportunities, and develop and implement an effective integration plan. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering ITSM/Service Desk integration projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
• Design and implement Service Desk integrations, including but not limited to third-party tools, applications, and systems.
• Develop integration strategies, workflows, and automation processes to streamline Service Desk operations.
• Perform thorough testing and quality assurance of Service Desk integrations to ensure reliability, functionality, and user-friendliness.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal teams on best practices for ServiceNow Service Desk integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors related to Service Desk integrations, including system performance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Document processes, configurations, and workflows for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience working as a ServiceNow consultant, with a focus on Service Desk integration projects.
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and best practices.
• Expertise in designing and implementing ServiceNow Service Desk integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, MID Servers, and other integration techniques.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, AngularJS, and other ServiceNow development tools and technologies.
• Experience with integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools such as JIRA, Zendesk, Salesforce, and monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and framework.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) and Certified Application Developer (CAD), are a plus.
