Medical Assistant Floater

Job Responsibilities Assist the physician in providing direct patient care. Deliver quality care by offering excellent customer service and participating in a team‑centered approach to patient care. Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient care, including order entry and clerical support. Perform record‑keeping duties, scheduling, and utilize knowledge of office policy and procedures. Verify patient demographics, file and retain patient records, and verify physician orders. Schedule patients for appointments and referrals. Assist in preparing patients for examinations, manage patient billing and payments, greet patients, and maintain office supplies.
