Adecco is currently assisting a local client in Medford, NJ in recruiting for a Senior Tax Accountant. Position Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you will support a diverse portfolio of business and individual clients in a public accounting setting. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple responsibilities and build strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns

• Perform financial statement preparation and reporting

• Process payroll and ensure payroll tax compliance

• Handle sales tax filings and reporting

• Respond to tax notices and client inquiries

• Manage and maintain client relationships as a trusted advisor

• Delegate and review work completed by Staff Accountants

• Collaborate with leadership on client engagements

• Provide QuickBooks support and bookkeeping services

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of public accounting experience

• Strong background in tax preparation and small business accounting/advisory

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

• CPA strongly preferred

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
