Overview Registered Nurse – PACU | Portland, Oregon, United States. Begin 06/08/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a short-term acute care setting. Weekly pay range: $1,909–$2,055 per week. Manage pain control, nausea, and hemodynamic stability; administer medications and document responses per physician orders. Reconcile and communicate patient status with the anesthesia team, surgeons, and other PACU staff; assist with transitions to appropriate next care areas or discharge from PACU. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, including vitals, patient progress, interventions, and discharge criteria. Ensure patient safety and infection control practices; support patient and family education regarding recovery expectations and discharge instructions. Adjust care plans based on evolving patient condition and unit protocols; escalate concerns promptly.
