Respiratory Therapist, CRT, or RN - PRN - North Carolina (Henderson)

Position Details

Location: Henderson, North Carolina

Coverage: 50 miles from Henderson

Schedule: Flexible, up to 24 hours per week

Preferred Commute: Within 50 miles of Henderson

Compensation: $5-$100 per service setup

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Provide equipment education and setup
- Monitor respiratory equipment function
- Perform ventilator and respiratory equipment setups
- Communicate patient findings to physicians
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Support patient compliance and therapy understanding
- Educate patients and families on equipment use

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation:

- Per-service payment ranging from $5-$100
- Mileage reimbursement
- Complete schedule flexibility
- Sign-On Bonus:
  - $500 after completion of training and first 10 patients or 10 hours
  - Additional $1,000 after completion of 50 patients or 100 hours

Qualifications

Required:

- Active RRT, CRT, or RN licensure in North Carolina
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work independently

Preferred:

- Completion of accredited respiratory care program
- Home respiratory care experience
- Degree in respiratory therapy or related science
- One year of related work experience
- CRT or RT credentials

Physical Demands

- Lift and carry office equipment at times
- Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork
- Requires contact with patients and equipment with potential exposure to contagious pathogens
- Requires occasional lifting and transporting of patient equipment
- Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening
- Required to comply with Respiratory Protection & N95 Mask Fit Testing Policy:
  - Medical evaluation and fit testing compliance in a timely manner
  - Annual recertification
  - Keep face clean-shaven to ensure N95 mask face-seal protection per
