Job Title Manager Operational Excellence-1 – Circle K Overview The Manager Operational Excellence lead will coordinate, schedule, and manage roll‑outs of new operational programs across multiple sites. This role collaborates with cross‑functional teams, tracks budget compliance, ensures training and audit delivery, and provides data analysis to support continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule new program roll‑outs and manage roll‑out teams. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely ordering and delivery of needed supplies and materials for efficient roll‑outs. Maintain budget compliance of roll‑outs through review and approval of invoicing. Ensure training compliance and completion through CBTs and by conducting training classes for new programs that affect operations. Conduct routine training meetings for management. Oversee the BU’s store auditing processes: review store audits completed by the auditing team, audit locations that fail two consecutive operational excellence audits, conduct random audits, and ensure Aims 4 audits are completed annually. Provide analysis of various reports including store P&Ls, audits, and budgets. Ensure delivery of routine communication on operational excellence programs and any changes. Attend the Annual Summit for new programs, roll‑outs, and to exchange best practices. Adhere to the company operating policy of legal, ethical, and moral practices. Perform multiple tasks in a fast‑paced and detail‑oriented environment. Maintain a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisors. Enhance professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, or participating in professional societies. Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field preferred. Other combinations of job‑related experience and education that meet the requirements may be substituted. Three to five years of retail business experience in multi‑site leadership or more preferred, including a minimum of two years of management responsibility. Demonstrated leadership ability, significant operations and marketing knowledge, effective communication skills, and a self‑directed, self‑motivated attitude. Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English. Ability to present in meetings and conduct training. Ability to supervise and manage the functions related to employees on roll‑out teams. Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word preferred. Ability to travel. A current valid driver’s license is required to operate a company vehicle. Physical Demands Regularly required to sit, talk, and/or hear. Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 lb. from ground to waist level for up to 30 min of a workday. Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 lb. from ground to overhead for up to 30 min of a workday. Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 40 lb. from ground to waist up to 30 min of a workday. Ability to push and pull with arms up to a force of 20 lb. Ability to climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials and place or replace signage. Position may require 50 % travel by car.
