Hospital medicine with a team that has your back, at a company that is just getting started. A brand new, independent, physician led company, private equity backed, is building its hospitalist program in Bradenton and Manatee County, and wants physicians who practice with judgment and calm.
The opportunity

• A brand new, independent company with serious private equity backing
• Value based care for a primarily geriatric population, with a reasonable census and a team that trusts each other
• State of the art support behind the bedside
• Bradenton and Manatee County, in hospital and skilled nursing facility settings
• Full time, with real time off protected

What you will do

• Serve as the physician of record for patients admitted to your service
• Complete admission workups, examine, diagnose, and treat across acute and complex conditions
• Order and evaluate diagnostics and perform common bedside procedures as needed
• Round at hospitals and skilled nursing facilities and coordinate specialists
• Lead safe discharges and transitions, and support the advanced practice clinicians on the team

What you will bring

• MD or DO with residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active, unrestricted Florida license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Board certified or board eligible with certification within two years of joining, recent graduates welcome
• Strong inpatient management skills, a valid Florida driver license and reliable transportation, Spanish a plus
