Tax Associate Tax and Accounting - Santa Monica, CA Entry Level/Compensation $85K - $95K DOE Gerber Kawasaki is one of the fastest-growing and most influential independent wealth and investment management firms in the country. We are seeking aTax Associate to support our tax department by preparing tax returns and providing overall tax-related support. We are looking for an proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively with both clients and management. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to grow with a well-established, diverse, and expanding tax practice. This role is 80% in-office, 4 days per week Job Description: Experience preparing and reviewing returns for C corporations, S corporations, LLCs and High Net Worth individuals Ability to communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clients Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail Experience working collaboratively across teams and departments Minimum Qualifications: 0-3 years of relevant work experience BA/BS in Accounting. MS Tax preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and experience with tax preparation & planning software. Experience with Lacerte preferred.
