Mental Health Therapist - Outpatient Clinician

Mental Health Therapist - Outpatient Clinician Community Services Institute (CSI) is seeking Outpatient Mental Health Therapists to join our behavioral/mental health team in Boston and Springfield. Clinicians provide client-centered therapy services to adults, adolescents, and children via telehealth or in-person modalities. Clinicians should be familiar with trauma-informed treatments for families facing systemic barriers and mental/behavioral health challenges. They will complete paperwork (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans) in a timely manner and will receive support for the administrative aspects of community mental health. About us CSI was one of the first outpatient community mental health clinics to offer home-based therapy to families facing barriers to mental health care. CSI’s community outreach model started after long-term psychiatric hospitals were shut down in the 60’s-70’s and replaced with outpatient mental health services. For nearly four decades, CSI has remained dedicated to social justice and delivering therapy in accessible ways, regardless of a person’s circumstance. CSI clinicians have the flexibility of a hybrid model, seeing clients virtually, in-office, and in community settings. Responsibilities Provide psychotherapy and consultation to children, individuals, couples, and families. Collaborate with CSI’s psychiatry and Therapeutic Mentor program. Self-motivated fee-for-service clinician who enjoys flexibility in scheduling. Complete assessments and develop goal-directed treatment plans. Some evenings are required to accommodate clients’ work and school schedules. Maintain 22 billable therapy and consult hours per week. Qualifications Master’s Degree (60 credits minimum) in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field Eligible for LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT Bilingual highly desirable (Spanish/English) Culturally fluent Massachusetts CANS certification required Salary Information $36.25 - $40 hourly wage #J-18808-Ljbffr
