ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 1990 and currently lead a team of six. Before becoming an agent with State Farm, I worked as a legislative assistant. Growing up in an insurance family—my father was an agent as well—I saw firsthand the opportunity this career offers and knew I wanted to build something of my own.

I have three adult sons, and outside of the office I enjoy staying active. I’m an avid hiker and even hiked Mount Kilimanjaro last year—an experience that reflects the kind of challenge and perseverance I value both personally and professionally.

I’m very involved in the community. My golden retriever and I volunteer at schools and hospitals, and I also spend time teaching English to Spanish speakers and mentoring children from single-parent homes. Giving back and making a difference is an important part of who I am.

Our agency offers health insurance after 90 days, Simple IRA, licensing reimbursement, work-life balance, external coaching, and ongoing team training. I also provide lunch during team meetings as a way to bring everyone together and stay connected.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Lisa Dobbs - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
• Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
