Pharmacy Shipping Associate

Position Summary Under the direction of the Pharmacy Supervisor, the Pharmacy Shipping Clerk is responsible for packing and shipping prescriptions according to client specifications and for other duties assigned. Responsibilities Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions. Accurately pack and ship prescription orders for KnippeRx in a timely manner. Responsible for stocking freezers with gel packs. Follow all procedures and pack‑out processes when shipping an order. Respect and follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws. Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures. Perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements. Maintain a clean and orderly work site. Keep an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at the shipping station. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year pharmacy experience preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Ability to lift 20 lbs. Ability to work in a standing environment. Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously. Ability to perform repetitive work accurately. Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once. Ability to learn from a variety of techniques. Ability to follow established process flows. Ability to work effectively in highly stressful situations, exhibiting flexibility in changing situations. Attention to detail. Work independently with little supervision and meet daily expectations. Physical Requirements Location of job activities 100% inside. Must be available for evenings and weekend shifts if needed. Exposure to noise and/or vibrations. Reaching (overhead) and handling tasks. Hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity. Sufficient to operate standard office equipment. Stand, bend, and sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer. Lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds. Hours Monday to Friday: 10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Salary and Benefits The expected base pay range for this position is $16.50–$17 per hour. Additional compensation may vary based on market differences, skills, experience, and location.
