Non-Destructive Evaluation TechnicianRequired Skills & Experience: 1-3 years of NDE/NDT experience (Non-Destructive Evaluation/Non-Destructive Technician).Composite material inspection experience, specifically Carbon Fiber, Kevlar, Boron, Inconel, Titanium, and InvarAny of the following qualification/certifications: NAS410, SNT-TC-1A, ASNT CP-189, ISO 9712, or EN 4179Ultrasonic testing equipment experience such as OlympusNice to Have Skills & Experience: Experience with Eddy Current, and/or X-ray testing (RT)Knowledge on honeycomb structures and bonded assemblies inspectionsBachelor's in mechanical/electrical engineering or any related fieldJob Description: A client in the defense industry is looking for a Non-Destructive Evaluation Technician that will be performing inspections on materials and components using ultrasonic testing techniques. This role is responsible for identifying defects, discontinuities, and quality concerns without damaging the material being inspected. Most of the materials they will be working on are composite bonding carbon fiber, kevlar, boron, inconel, titanium and invar.
