COLD FOOD (SALAD) (FULL TIME)

Job Overview Position: Full time COLD FOOD (SALAD) Associate at Restaurant Associates Location: 1815 Augustine, 3rd Floor, Talleyville, DE 19803. Online applications only. Schedule: Full time Monday through Friday, hours may vary. Pay: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. Responsibilities Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from Chef. Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Stock and replenish deli/cold products and condiments following approved merchandising guidelines. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstation, stove and refrigerator. Store food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating and rotation procedures. Cleans, sanitizes and maintains counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units and floors in the preparation and serving areas. Place meat, cheese or vegetables on cutting board and cut slices to designated thickness; operate slicing machine as required. Interact with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures. Maintain clean, safe work environment to comply with sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous deli or cooking, hospitality, and customer service experience. Ability to perform essential functions of this position, including the use of cutting equipment and adherence to food safety regulations. Possession of a medium weight cut glove for knife handling, oven mitts for hot pans, and slip‑resistant shoes; properly lifting techniques. Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures including HACCP, ServSafe and other safety standards.
