National Accounts Sales Manager, Walmart Team Salary - Exempt First/Mid-level Mgrs Bentonville, AR, US 13 days ago Requisition ID: 1168 We are looking for a full-time, experienced and self-motivated National Accounts Sales Manager to join our Walmart Team to own the sales and account management functions for all categories sold through Walmart. Hampton Products is a leading North American provider of both residential and commercial security and door hardware, builder’s hardware, cargo management, and portable security products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic sales plans for Walmart to meet corporate goals. Assume responsibility for overall profitability the Walmart account to ensure targeted and acceptable level of profitability. Oversee the maintenance of customer SKU files and pricing schedules. Advise Walmart concerning sales and advertising opportunities. Develop and presents annual promotional schedules if applicable. Analyze sales performance to assist customers in maximizing sales and profitability. This includes eliminating unprofitable items from their product mix. Prepare and deliver sales presentations to Walmart. Expand product categories with Walmart as warranted. Meet with key contacts to maintain relationships and negotiate programs. Understand customers’ internal processes. Work directly with all functional areas internally to ensure effective communications and develop cross functional activity within both Walmart and HPI. Stay abreast of technical product knowledge to assist customers by explaining product’s features and benefits as needed. Work with HPI’s Finance department to assist in preparing annual sales forecasts and provide information internally to assist in developing purchasing planning. Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition. Prepare for and attend customer events as necessary.Ensure Hampton’s internal understanding of Walmart’s operation at retail level to better meet customer needs. Actively increases industry knowledge including customers’ and own competition. Assist with finding solutions for SMOB inventory as needed. The successful candidate will have the following Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in business, or related field from a four-year college or university; no less than five years related progressive experience managing accounts and calling for Walmart; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master at creating partnerships with external customers with strong leadership skills Master level understanding of the Walmart retail industry. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate efforts.
