Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-hour night shift position on the 6th floor, located in Neenah, Wisconsin. This role involves working in a fast-paced hospital environment, providing comprehensive care for trauma surgical, neuro, and orthopedic patients. Candidates must bring their license on the first day and have the necessary certifications and experience outlined below.

Job Details:

• Location: Neenah, Wisconsin
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, start time at 5:30 PM, guaranteed 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin (WI) RN license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, Associate Degree or Certificate, minimum of 3+ years of nursing experience, including 2+ years of Medical-Surgical experience and one travel assignment. Charting experience with Electronic Medical Record (Epic) system within the last 2 years is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
• Experience and Skills: Proven resilience, strong work ethic, ability to manage changes, excellent social skills, trauma experience, and specific proficiency in neuro and orthopedic trauma patient care, including handling chest tubes, PCA/epidural/Q-ball, CBI, and post-op neuro/ortho trauma surgeries.
• Schedule & Operational Details:
  • Shift hours: 12 hours nights (NOCs)
  • Contract for 13 weeks starting as soon as possible
  • Guaranteed hours per week: 36
  • No on-call or callback requirements
  • Float: Rotation within the facility and to all ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius
  • No new travelers accepted for this assignment
  • Unbillable orientation is 8 hours, scheduled Sunday through Saturday, with hours not guaranteed during the orientation week
  • Interview days: Monday through Friday, via MSP interview type
