Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an ICU day shift position in Lufkin, TX, requiring at least 2 years of critical care experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a 27-bed unit
• Patient ratios of 2:1 to 3-4:1
• On-call is possible
• Floating to the Stepdown unit is required
• EMR: Medhost

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/critical care experience required
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license required

Additional Information

• Navy scrubs required
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• This is a travel position; local candidates are not accepted
