Human Resources Manager

A rapidly growing, private equity-backed healthcare organization is seeking its first Human Resources Director to build and lead the HR function across a multi-location platform. With operations spanning 15+ locations across Louisiana and Oklahoma, and additional expansion on the horizon, the company has nearly doubled in size over the past four months and is on track to double again in the near term. This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact, build-from-scratch role where you will partner directly with executive leadership to design, implement, and formalize HR processes across the organization. Position Overview The Human Resources Director will be responsible for creating structure and consistency across HR operations , including compliance, policies, and employee support functions. This individual will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to bring the company’s HR vision to life. This role is ideal for someone who is process-driven, proactive, and excited about building something from the ground up in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities Build and formalize HR processes, policies, and compliance frameworks across multiple locations Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute the company’s HR strategy Serve as a resource to business office managers and operational leaders on HR-related matters Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations (particularly in healthcare) Provide guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, and best practices Help centralize HR functions that are currently decentralized across individual locations Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency Qualifications 5+ years of HR experience, with exposure to building or improving HR processes Experience in healthcare or another highly regulated industry strongly preferred Multi-state HR experience is a plus Strong understanding of compliance, policies, and HR best practicesProven ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-growing environment Comfortable partnering directly with executive leadership Experience supporting distributed teams or multiple locations What Makes This Opportunity Unique Ground-floor impact: Be the first dedicated HR leader and shape the function from day one High-growth environment: Company is rapidly scaling with strong financial backing Executive visibility: Work directly with the CEO and leadership team Autonomy + support: Bring ideas, build processes, and execute with leadership alignment Career growth: Opportunity to grow alongside a company scaling upwards Location Metairie, LA preferred (potential Hybrid) Travel Minimal, occasional day trips within Louisiana Compensation $85,000 – $100,000 Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM #J-18808-Ljbffr Frey Consulting Group
