The Product Manager is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering product features and improvements that align with business objectives and customer needs. This role owns the product backlog and delivery roadmap and works cross-functionally with engineering, quality, sales, operations, and leadership to ensure disciplined execution, transparent communication, and customer-focused outcomes across the product lifecycle.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer valueDefine product features, including scope, requirements, and intended outcomesBalance new feature development with performance improvements, architectural enhancements, quality improvements, and defect resolutionPrioritize backlog items based on customer impact, performance needs, technical debt, and quality considerationsCollaborate with engineering and quality teams to estimate effort and assess delivery feasibilityEvaluate delivery velocity and team capacity to inform realistic planning and commitmentsDevelop, maintain, and communicate delivery schedules for features, technical improvements, and defect remediationTranslate delivery schedules into actionable sprint plansAdjust sprint plans and roadmaps as work progresses or priorities shiftCommunicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to leadership, sales, and operationsPrepare executive-ready presentations that articulate product plans, options, dependencies, and recommendationsProvide clear alternatives with pros and cons when tradeoff decisions are requiredServe as a strong customer advocate by incorporating customer feedback and use casesFacilitate constructive cross-functional discussions and resolve competing prioritiesMaintain professional and effective communication across all stakeholder groupsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experienceExperience managing product backlogs, priorities, and sprint-based deliveryStrong collaboration skills with engineering, quality, and cross-functional teamsAbility to translate business needs into clear product requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and decision-making skillsPreferred Qualifications5+ years of experience working in agile development environmentsExperience/expertise with software or technical products in the Wastewater industryAre you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?Total RewardsThe compensation range for this position is $99,800.00 - $149,600.00, depending on experience.
