Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and certified CT Technologist to join our growing location in Dallas. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and proficient in performing high-quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients appropriately for CT imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Perform CT scans following physician orders and imaging protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment
• Adhere to radiation safety and regulatory guidelines
• Accurately document procedures and patient information
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Valid Texas state license (if applicable)
• Minimum 2+ years of CT experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills

Skills:

The CT Technologist utilizes technical skills daily to operate complex imaging equipment and adjust scanning parameters to capture precise diagnostic images. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for explaining procedures to patients, alleviating their concerns, and ensuring cooperation during scans. Attention to detail is critical when reviewing images for quality and documenting patient information accurately to support clinical decisions. Knowledge of radiation safety principles is applied consistently to minimize exposure risks to patients and staff. Additionally, problem-solving skills enable the technologist to troubleshoot equipment issues and adapt to varying clinical scenarios effectively.
