Senior Technical Project Manager

Product ManagerLocation: O’Fallon MO – manager strongly prefers local candidates, otherwise it must be someone who can relocate ASAP once they get the job (will allow up to 1 month MAX)This job will be 2 days in office, 3 day remoteOverview:This team is a Product Team. We already have a TPM, but this is a special opening to manage project from the Product perspective. It is not the same as what the other TPMs are doing.We want someone to manage our day to day work within the product and let us know if we are missing any targets, daily updates, updating all management within our product team and if other TPMs are missing something, we want to know that ASAPSo this is a TPM within TPM, but we need assistance here for our team directly.Requirements:Documentation Skills – one of the most important requirements, Word/Metrics/etc. Excel, PowerPoint, Word (make metrics out of it) Required.Technical Background- not a developer, but know oracle, java, etc. know which application is which. They just need to be able to talk on the technical/communicate.Requires excellent communication skillsCloud Platform- Azure/AWS/PCF: just know what it is. That we are deploying everything within Cloud. Everyone in today’s world knows what Cloud is. They just need to know what Cloud is. They should be able to relate the technologies, not the developing part of it.Agile/Scrum- comes with TPMs. Is necessary.How to Relate the Technology- be able to coordinate across the team on the status. The product team needs a project manager TPM to help them get aligned and know what is not going well and address important items.
