Quality Laboratory Supervisor

SummaryThe Quality Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations and Technicians of the Laboratory. He/she will be responsible for all general operations of the laboratory, including personnel, procedures, equipment and capabilities. He/she will direct the Technicians in all sampling, testing and measurement duties and ensure adherence to correct procedures and health and safety guidelines. He/she will be responsible for effective troubleshooting and mentorship of subordinate Technicians. RequirementsMinimum Community College Degree in a related field and/orMinimum three years’ experience in a laboratory. Supervisory experience. Experiance with metal and plastic plating testing and weld cut and etchExperiance with metrology equipment (scanners, CMM, hand tools)Knowledge of laboratory techniques, terminology, equipment and materials.Knowledge of data processing.Ability to use and maintain laboratory equipment.Understanding of laboratory instrumentation, signal conditioning and data acquisitionAbility to understand and follow written and oral instruction.Must have good written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrate applicable ethics and due diligence.Manage time effectively.Excellent presentation skills.Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.Mechanically inclinedExcellent problem solving abilityAbility to manage multiple projects with minimum supervisionJobFamilyLaboratory SupervisorPayTypeSalary
