Surgical Scrub Technician

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Scrub Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in elective and emergent surgeries, focusing on Orthopedic, Gynecological, Robotic, Urology, General, ENT, and Orthopedic Spine procedures. A strong background in Total Joint and Orthopedic surgeries is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
• Prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment required for procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain a clean and organized operating room.
• Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to prevent infections.
• Participate in the training and development of new staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Scrub Technician.
• Prior travel experience in similar roles is required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to dynamic situations.

Work Schedule

This position will require a 10-hour day shift with on-call availability as needed.
