Underwriter II

A financial services organization in Texas is seeking an Underwriter II to join their team in Lewisville.
About the Opportunity:- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite)
- Underwrite dealer accounts and complete related due diligence using internal and external data sources
- Monitor dealer exposure, daily limits, and outstanding balances to help mitigate risk
- Apply company risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines with strict compliance
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and operating costs within the underwriting process
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, providing clear communication, customer service, and subject matter support
- Perform other duties, as needed
- 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services or a similar industry
- High School Diploma / GED
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related discipline
- Prior experience in a Leadership role
- Experience contributing to Projects or Process Improvement initiatives
