Part-Time Supervisor

The Part-Time Supervisor plays a key leadership role in supporting daily operations of our Madhouse Team Store in the United Center. This position helps drive an exceptional guest experience by leading team members, overseeing merchandising, maintaining visual standards, and assisting with store readiness. The ideal candidate is organized, service-driven, and comfortable leading in a fast-paced retail environment.

The Madhouse Store is located in the Atrium of the United Center and is open year-round, offering a wide selection of Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks merchandise.

The United Center is the largest arena in the U.S., located near Chicago's West Side. It hosts concerts, sporting events, and is home to the Chicago Bulls (NBA) and Chicago Blackhawks (NHL).

Customer Service & Leadership

• Deliver and model exceptional, friendly service to every guest.
• Greet and assist guests promptly; provide product knowledge and promote store offerings.
• Support and guide team members during shifts; assist with onboarding and daily direction.

Store Operations

• Assist with opening/closing duties; ensure store is clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Monitor product stock and report shortages before store opening.
• Coordinate with the warehouse or management to locate needed styles/sizes.
• Maintain consistent visual standards across all areas of the store.

Merchandising

• Oversee check-in of all merchandise into the Team Store.
• Ensure proper folding, hanging, and placement of merchandise on the sales floor.
• Verify all folded tees have correct size stickers; ensure hangers face the same direction.
• Support team in ongoing sizing, straightening, and restocking.
• Stay informed about new arrivals and changes in store layout.

Cashiering (as needed)

• Ensure register stations are functional and well-stocked.
• Support accurate transactions and cash handling procedures.

Additional Duties

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Retail Manager.
• Serve as a go-to leader for team members during shifts.

Qualifications:

• Retail and/or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking.
• Energetic, team-oriented, and committed to delivering top-tier service.
