Job Full Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Janitor to join our team. As a School Janitor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our students, staff, and visitors. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to the overall success of our educational institution.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
Maintain cleanliness in classrooms, offices, and common areas
Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
Clean windows, blinds, and other glass surfaces
Ensure proper stocking and replenishment of cleaning supplies
Assist with setting up and cleaning up after school events or activities
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times

Requirements:

Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others
