Contract | Night Shift | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe, healing, and patient-centered environment
• Provide health education and information directly to patients, families, and the treatment team
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Supervise, direct, and appropriately delegate duties to various levels of assigned nursing staff

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (California)
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Holiday RTO requests are not approved for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior acute care facility experience
