We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Board Eligible / Board Certified Breast Surgeon to become a part of our dedicated team at the Family Cancer Institute located in Fort Wayne, IN .
Role OverviewThe ideal candidate will possess:
- Certification in General Surgery
- A fellowship in Breast Surgery from an SSO accredited program
We are looking for breast surgeons who are committed to delivering high-quality, specialized patient care . This position primarily involves outpatient practice with minimal on-call duties at a single tertiary hospital. There are no general surgery call obligations.
Practice EnvironmentYou will be supported by a dedicated breast cancer care team and will participate in academic-style tumor boards. Our practice utilizes the EPIC EMR System .
The Family Cancer Institute is a 200,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2018, designed to meet the oncology needs of our health system. We provide a comprehensive range of cancer services all in one location, including:
- Diagnostic imaging
- Advanced treatment options
- Specialty physician offices
- Laboratory services
- Nutrition clinic
- Gift and wig boutiques
Our breast cancer division is accredited by the NAPBC .
