Job PostingThis position supports Warehouse Operations and Logistics in Woodridge, Illinois, within a fast-paced environment. The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for executing daily shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and organization. This role requires a hands-on individual who can balance physical warehouse responsibilities with system-based order and shipment processing activities.Key Characteristics:Detail-OrientedReliableSafety MindedOrganizedDuties & Responsibilities:Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately and efficientlyPrepare shipments and create shipping labels (UPS, FedEx, or similar systems)Operate a stand-up reach truck forklift to move, load, and organize inventoryReceive, inspect, and put away incoming materialsSupport inventory-related tasks, including counting and tracking stock as neededUpdate and maintain order and shipment information within ERP or warehouse systems to support accurate fulfillment and trackingMaintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safe working conditionsFollow all OSHA guidelines and company safety standardsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to lift and move materials (up to 45 lbs) and remain on your feet throughout the shiftProficiency with ERP or warehouse systems (e.g., JD Edwards or similar) to support order processing and shipment activitiesStrong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environmentAbility to safely operate warehouse equipment, including a stand-up reach truck forkliftEducation & Experience:Required:High School Diploma or equivalentPrior warehouse experience in a fast-paced environmentCurrent stand-up reach truck forklift certification with hands-on operating experience (Crown or similar equipment)Experience with picking, packing, and shipping processesExperience navigating ERP or warehouse systems to support order processing and shipment activitiesStrong communication skills and reliabilityPreferred:Experience with UPS, FedEx, or similar shipping systemsAdditional inventory or warehouse systems experienceAdditional Information:Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.
