RN – Med Surg – Travel

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Wheeling, WV. This position offers an opportunity to join a dedicated team in an acute care setting, providing quality care to a range of patients. With a 30-bed unit, the role involves managing patient ratios of up to 1:7 and participating in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities of the RN – Med Surg – Travel include:

• Deliver patient care to individuals with CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, and more.
• Administer heparin and titrate drips based on aPPT results as needed.
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and PCTs to manage patient care.
• Utilize EPIC charting systems effectively.
• Participate in the rotation of weekend and holiday schedules.

Requirements of the RN – Med Surg – Travel include:

• Active BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in an acute care setting
• Ability to adapt to a 12-hour day/night rotating shift schedule
