Medical AssistantThe Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in facilitating a smooth and friendly environment during patient visits, supporting the dermatologist in the room and ensuring efficient interactions with patients, staff, and visitors.ResponsibilitiesAccompany the dermatologist during patient visits and document vital information.Scribe information for the dermatologist and provide post-operative instructions to patients.Perform duties such as drawing blood and suture removal.Clean and stock exam rooms to maintain a sterile environment.Schedule patient appointments efficiently to optimize clinic operations.Essential Skills6 months to 1 year of experience in a related field.Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in surgical, dermatology, or urgent care settings is preferred.Customer service skills, especially in fast-paced healthcare environments.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Work EnvironmentThe role operates Monday through Friday from 6:45 am to 3:30 pm in a fast-paced environment that handles approximately 65 patients per day.
