  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with landowners by delivering presentations, facilitating discussions, and serving as a primary point of contact throughout project development
  • Conduct title research, support property ownership verification activities, and secure documentation required to advance land acquisition efforts
  • Manage assigned land acquisition projects, including project plans, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria, while ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved
  • Maintain accurate land records, lease and easement documentation, project databases, and land inventory information
  • Collaborate with business development, legal, engineering, environmental, survey, and project management teams to support project execution and resolve land-related issues
  • Monitor and apply applicable federal, state, and local regulations and assist with surface use agreements, landowner concerns, and emerging project-related land matters

What You'll Bring
  • A minimum of a four-year degree and two (2) years of experience in Land Acquisition in the energy industry; in lieu of a degree, a minimum of a total of four (4) years of relevant Land Acquisition experience will be considered
  • Experience negotiating leases, easements, or other land agreements directly with private landowners
  • Proven ability to research and obtain property ownership records and supporting documentation from county courthouses, abstract offices, and other public record sources
  • Experience organizing and maintaining project files, land records, agreements, and landowner documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing demands, and meet established deadlines
  • Working knowledge of real estate principles, land agreements, and title-related matters within an energy development environment
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to renewable energy development projects
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills

Additional Details
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 60% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record; for driving car rentals and personal vehicles while performing company business
