About the Role:

3 2 Get Ready Childcare Learning Center in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that fosters growth and development
• Supervise and guide assistant teachers and classroom aides in daily activities
• Monitor and document children's developmental progress and communicate updates to parents and guardians
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom at all times
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
• Ensure compliance with state childcare regulations and center policies

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Previous experience as a Lead Teacher or in a childcare/preschool setting
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet Pennsylvania childcare licensing requirements
• Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
