School Psychologist Intern

Job Title Psychologist Intern Term and Hours of Position 7.5 Hours Per Day Responsibilities Under the direct supervision of the Director of Student Support Services, and under the indirect supervision of site principals, the intern provides a continuum of general school psychological services to children and families in the Standard School District. Services include direct individual and group counseling, behavior management, assessment, agency liaison activities, and behavior consultation with parents and teachers. Qualifications Required: Eligibility for internship through a university school psychology training program approved by the California Commission for Teacher Credentialing. Desired: Training/experience/coursework in applied behavior analysis or ecological-behavioral methods, behavioral consultation, systems-wide behavioral intervention methods. Training/experience/coursework in non-traditional assessment methods, such as functional assessment, curriculum-based assessment, ecological assessment, etc. Training/experience/coursework in curriculum and academic interventions.
