About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty License: MT license required for ARRT, state license must be applied for immediately upon offer acceptance Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT-R or CCI RCIS preferred Must-Have: Previous charge experience of 2 years, patient ratio experience of 1, charting system experience preferred Description: Both ARRT or RCIS candidates qualify. This position requires a highly skilled Cath Lab Tech. Candidates will enjoy the beauty and adventure of Montana and Big Sky on their days off. Skills required include accurate monitoring, ASD closures, cardiac implant closure device, cardiac stent placement, cardioversion, and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations. Experience with equipment setup, fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, and Impella insertion is necessary. Ability to perform EKG lead placement, maintain equipment, and inventory is essential. Familiarity with the following is preferred: optical coherence tomography, pacemaker insertion, percutaneous coronary interventions, and left/right heart catheterization. Candidates should demonstrate proper recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, maintain sterile technique, and possess knowledge of vascular closure systems. Technical experience with systems such as Siemens and Philips is a plus. Candidates must demonstrate compassion and proficiency on the job.
