Junior PurchaserThe Junior Purchaser supports the procurement of commercial software, hardware, peripherals, accessories, and related IT products for a Federal Contractor serving government customers. This position assists with purchase requisitions, vendor quotes, purchase orders, delivery tracking, procurement documentation, and compliance with company purchasing policies, customer requirements, and applicable federal acquisition regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, responsive, and interested in developing a career in government contracting procurement.The Junior Purchaser is expected to conduct purchasing activities with integrity, fairness, and consistency with company policies, customer requirements, contract terms, and applicable federal procurement standards. The role requires accurate documentation, timely communication, and adherence to procurement approval thresholds and audit-ready file practices.This role is typically performed in an office, remote, or hybrid business environment.
