Department: Ambulatory Care Clinics - Adult Primary Care Address: 1611 NW 12 Avenue, Miami, FL 33136 Shift Details: 8:00AM-5:00PM, M-F (No call) Position Summary As part of the continued expansion of the Jackson Health System, the Ambulatory & Physician Services Division is a growing multi-specialty physician network of physicians and specialists who practice throughout Miami-Dade County at many different specialty care centers, and is seeking to hire a primary care physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join our highly regarded multi-specialty practice in our Ambulatory Care Center Clinic at Jackson Memorial Hospital. The Primary Care physician is responsible for the planning, diagnostic development, management and evaluation of medical/services at the employee clinic/center of responsibility. Provides and maintains JHS Standards towards continuous, intensive direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and health care services to JHS adult outpatients. Primary Care with average daily patient volume of 18 - 20. No call requirements. Opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our staff and their families. Experience Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience. License/Certification Valid Florida Medical License. DEA and board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required. Other specialty certifications related to the specialty are a plus. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
