RN - Med Surg - Langlade

Nursing Position

General duties include providing nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process, coordinating care planning with other disciplines, and supervising other members of the nursing care team. Procedures include medication administration, wound care/dressings, surgical drains, collection of primary health information, peripheral IV/central lines accessing, assist with insertion/removal of chest tube, telemetry interpretation, 12 lead ECG, nebulizer administration, and familiarity with oxygen delivery setups. Required skills and minimum years of experience include a minimum of 2 years of general med surg nursing experience. Specific license and certification required are BLS, WI or compact RN license. Shifts are varied, with every other weekend rotation. Clinical leads and preceptors are available as support staff. Dress code is scrubs. Orientation includes 2 days of hospital orientation and 1 day of each clinical area.
