Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with patients to encourage open communication and effective treatment outcomes. \n
- Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop tailored treatment plans that meet each patient's unique needs. \n
- Facilitate regular therapeutic sessions for individuals and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques. \n
- Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes. \n
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques when necessary to address urgent mental health issues, providing swift assessment and support. \n
- Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with electronic medical record systems to maintain accurate patient histories. \n
- Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients with complex needs. \n
The patients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and present a variety of mental health challenges. This includes individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health disorders. Your role will be crucial in guiding these patients through their mental health journeys, empowering them to develop healthier coping strategies, and enhancing their overall well-being.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. \n
- A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required. \n
- A minimum of 3 years of experience providing mental health counseling in an outpatient setting. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and strong computer skills, including familiarity with spreadsheets and word processing applications. \n
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and collaborate with team members. \n
- Demonstrated capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced, evolving environment. \n
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. \n
Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competencies in mental health are highly desirable. Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques or modalities are considered an asset, as they further enhance the quality of care provided to our patients.
