Electrician (Facilities)

Facilities Electrician – Oskaloosa office. Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across all facilities, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Supports construction, renovation, and ongoing maintenance projects. Essential Criteria High school diploma or GED. Four years of apprenticeship in electrical field and ability to acquire an electrical license. Journeyman’s Electrical License preferred. Valid US Driver’s License required. 1+ year of previous electrical work or other trade experience. In‑depth knowledge of commercial wiring installation best practices. Proficient with computers, including Excel and Word. Ability to prioritize and complete tasks independently using sound judgment. Maintain a valid Iowa driver’s license and perform work on private or community projects as required. Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders. Roles And Responsibilities Install conduit, pull wiring, and complete electrical connections in commercial and light industrial environments. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues to maintain safe and efficient operations. Utilize electrician tools to repair or replace breakers, switches, lighting, ballasts, and related components. Collaborate with facilities team members on remodeling, renovations, and new construction projects. Install manufacturing equipment, machinery, and HVAC electrical connections. Support office relocations by preparing workstations, setting up furniture, and ensuring electrical access. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. Provide general maintenance and repair support across all Oskaloosa facilities. Respond promptly to service requests and document completed work. Other duties as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
