CDL-A Reefer Driver - Entry Level Welcome

East Dallas drivers: reefer runs from Texas to TN, IL and GA, home every two weeks.

Just got your CDL-A? Good. This job is open to new drivers, and nobody expects you to know everything yet.

Day to day

Main lanes are TX to TN, TX to IL and TX to GA.

Live loads and live unloads by appointment.

What you earn

• Training pay: $850 a week
• $1,000 a week guaranteed through your first 3 months on your own
• $1,300 to $1,500 average per week
• 1,800 to 2,000 miles weekly
• Home every two weeks with a 34-hour reset
• $25 stop pay
• Paychecks every week

Straight answers for new drivers

• "How often will I see home?" You are home every two weeks with a 34-hour reset.
• "Will my pay drop when training ends?" No. You have a $1,000 weekly guarantee for your first 3 months solo.
• "Will one ticket disqualify me?" Not by itself. We accept up to 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
• "I am not good at backing yet." Nobody is on day one. You get weeks of practice with a mentor next to you before you ever drive alone.

New CDL? Here is exactly what happens

1. You apply, we call you. A recruiter goes over your license and record with you before anything else, so there are no surprises.
2. Orientation, up to 2 days. Hotel is provided and your one-way bus ticket is reimbursed. You get $300 for orientation once you are hired.
3. 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor. You drive, your mentor rides with you and coaches you on backing, trip planning, logs and fueling. Training pay is $850 per week.
4. You go solo. You get your own assigned truck from a fleet that averages 1.5 years old, with 10-speeds and automatics. Plus $1,000 a week guaranteed for 3 months while you find your rhythm.

To qualify

• Age 21+
• Class A CDL: new grads with at least 120 training hours are welcome, or 6 months of recent experience
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years, max 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• Able to pass a DOT medical exam and a hair and urine drug screen

After your first 30 days
