Tech Lead/Manager
Location: Denver or Austin Onsite
Strong understanding of Windows CE operating system architecture and API, including real-time features.
Experience with embedded Visual Tools or Visual Studio for Windows CE development.
Proficiency in C/C++ Programming Languages used for the embedded system.
Expertise in dial-up modem integration and troubleshooting, including understanding AT commands and network protocols.
Strong knowledge of UDP, TCP and TLS networking, including configuration, troubleshooting, and potential real-time considerations.
Experience in integrating and managing peripherals connected via RS232 and USB ports.
Understanding of Magnetic Stripe Reader (MSR) data acquisition and processing, potentially including handling encrypted data from sources like credit cards.
Knowledge of touch screen functionality and user interface development for embedded systems.
Strong knowledge of relational database systems, SQL Server, including SQL for querying, manipulation, and analysis.
Expertise in database administration tasks like designing schemas, and creating SQL scripts.
Familiarity with ODBC connections for database integration.
Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols like TCP/IP, crucial for troubleshooting communication between terminals and the server.
Experience with dial-up and Ethernet communications, essential for the transactional nature of the updates and downloads.
