Location: Tampa, Florida

Pay: $30.00–$40.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary

Kemco is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our Tampa team.

This position is ideal for a self-motivated technician who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, working independently, and delivering outstanding customer service.

While HVAC is your primary focus, experience with electrical, plumbing, general facility repairs, and commercial maintenance is highly valued.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance.
• Complete service calls for restaurants, retail stores, banks, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs when needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers and explain repair recommendations.
• Complete work orders, service reports, and required documentation accurately.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry regulations.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems
• Working knowledge of electrical systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to successfully pass a background screening

Preferred Experience

• EPA Certification
• Experience with refrigeration systems
• Plumbing experience
• Commercial electrical troubleshooting
• General construction or handyman skills
• Kitchen equipment service experience

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50–75 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Climb ladders and work at heights.
• Work in confined spaces and various weather conditions.
• Stand, walk, kneel, bend, and climb throughout the workday.
• Travel daily throughout the Tampa Bay area.
• Safely work around electrical equipment and high-temperature mechanical systems.
