Position Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and in-depth medical history reviews
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical issues through the interpretation of lab results and imaging studies

• Provide valuable support during operations, preparing surgical environments, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing the exchange of surgical instruments
• Offer exemplary pre- and post-operative care, overseeing medication delivery, managing wound care, assisting with discharge processes, and providing patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for those who have completed clinical rotations with a focus on surgery

Certifications Required

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification necessary
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
